Situated in the heart of the medieval town, the property's historical significance was evident, being next to the fortification wall of 1380 and the late Gothic St Wolfgang Church. As an architect fascinated by Germany's architectural marvels, the hospital bastion built in the 16th century with a drawbridge and 7 gates was a treat to explore. Safety features like a carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher provided peace of mind, ensuring a secure stay. the option for a climate-neutral overnight stay aligned with my values as an environmentally conscious traveler. the attentive staff, offering seasonal dishes like Spargel and Pfifferlinge, and the free Wi-Fi via Telekom Hot Spot added to the overall positive experience. My visit was enhanced by the blend of historical elements and modern amenities, making it a memorable stay in the city.
